Myself and Ali Saddique, former DVSA - ADI Examiner who has gained much of his experience within the DVSA team, conducting learner tests as well as ADI and PDI qualifying tests has earnt his credibility within his role within the DVSA. Ali has agreed to be our lead facilitator with myself answering any burning question's you may have at the end. These 4 consecutive online Zoom sessions will cover the following, Lesson Planning, Risk Management, and Teaching/Learning Strategies, as we give an insight into what each competency means in practice, and how they can be applied within a in-car learning environment.

Session overview and timings:

6 Hours of essential info for every PDI and ADI in preparation for part 3 or their Standards Check to give them the best chances of passing at their first attempt.

Over 4 consecutive days over 2 weekends.

Course Overview

Lesson Planning Day 1
Duration = 1 hour and 30 minutes.

This session will give driving instructors an insight of the 4 competencies listed under Lesson Planning and how to better understand how they impact your performance.

Risk Management Day 2
Duration = 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Day 2 identifies the common pitfalls that many ADI's and PDI's encounter on tests, and how these can be avoidable with a better understanding of Risk Management and how the responsibility for risk is shared.

Teaching and Learning Strategies Day 3, and 4

Duration = 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Day 3 and 4 looks at some of the common hurdles and challenges we find ourselves in as driver trainers, and our delivery skills to provide quality and effective training that supports everyone's individual needs.

Course Rate: £200.00 per person attending.

Total Course Duration: 6 Hours!

This online ADI/CPD event will be recorded, and sent to each attendee for their own personal CPD records, and to allow each individual to reflect on what was discussed.
