At Option2Drive DITAC Driving Instructor Training and Coach, We provide quality and professional ADI instructor training under the ORDIT scheme, Official Register of Driving Instructor Training. In addition to our driving instructor training program, we have fully qualified ADI's who teach learner drivers from basic to advance standard and offer dedicated lesson's around their clients existing commitments. Driving isn't just about passing a competency test, it's having the confidence to deal with the most complex situations that drivers often face whilst driving, and a skill for life in driving safely on the road in preparation for their test and post-test.
We can train you in the following locations: Waltham Abbey, Cheshunt, Chingford, Loughton, Enfield, Barnet, Mill Hill, Hackney, Leytonstone, Leyton, Woodford and surroundings locations. We have been established since 2008 with successful pass rates from ADI tests to learner drivers qualifying and obtaining their driver's license.

Driving Instructor Training and Coach
We're based in Waltham Abbey, locally between Cheshunt and Enfield, and offer driver training in many locations nearby. See list above. We offer quality online and in-vehicle training, from advancing driving techniques, instructional training for all 3 parts of the ADI qualification to standards check training, and online guidance/workshops in preparation for the ADI Part 3 examination. These workshops are designed to give Potential Driving Instructors (PDI trainees') a better understanding of the test requirements and what to expect on the day, and an overview of the marking sheet clarifying each outcome based on the trainees requirements. We offer online training and in-car, it's simply your choice!
As an experienced trainer, owner of the business, I am highly involved in driver improvement schemes to improve road safety and make a positive contribution to reducing the number of killed and serious injuries on our roads working with many high profile contractors who operate through the police division. This has helped me gain good people skills, as well as interpersonal skill's and a better understanding to behaviour changing attitudes to assist those who are open to learning and want to make changes in their driving. In addition, we have a variety of course options, from those wanting to become (ADI) Approved Driving Instructor for all parts of the (ADI) 1, 2 and 3 training process, to Standard Checks and ORDIT inspection preparation at grade 'A' standard.

Become a driving instructor
All training provided is a minimum of 2 hourly sessions, instead of hourly slots. This is to provide quality and effective evaluation of performance standards marked against the 17 competencies which are align to the National Standards for Driver and Rider Training syllabus. This often isn't achievable in hourly sessions.
We offer ADI training for all 3 parts of the ADI qualifying tests. The first of the 3 exams, are theory based training only, this is extended to the driving practical element, followed by the 3rd and final exam in which you MUST take and pass to qualify as an ADI.

All training provided is a minimum of 2 hourly sessions, instead of hourly slots. This is to provide quality and effective evaluation of performance standards marked against the National Standards for Driver and Rider Training syllabus. This often isn't achievable in hourly sessions.
Having provided professional ORDIT instructor training to many UK driving schools', we're confident we can help others become ORDIT registered giving those trainers something more to their existing ADI qualification. I am proud to say as an independent instructor grade A trainer, that over the years I have had some great results in helping others become trainers of their own driving school's particularly if they are offering instructor training under their franchise. The term "ORDIT" means Official Register of Driving Instructor Training, and provides a piece of mind that your PDI's are being trained by a trainer who is regularly assessed by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency. The qualification provides credibility to anyone offering this type of training and of the highest standards to attain such qualification. It can be very rewarding to train others in starting a new career in becoming a driving instructor, as well as those who want to take the lead role of the "train the trainer" position to represent their own driving school giving them the edge over other driving schools.

How long will it take me to qulify?It usually takes around 3-6 months to qualify to become an approved driving instructor, but can take longer depending on DVSA test availability.

Will I be assigned to different instructor trainers during my training, or will I have the same trainer?"No, you will have the same trainer who will support you, guide and train you with your road to becoming an approved driving instructor.
